College Counseling & Applications
We support the whole student in exploring the possibilities for college, identifying good fit schools, and engaging in the application process in a constructive and caring way that helps the student feel great about both the process and the outcome.
Comprehensive College Counseling Package
Beginning sophomore year and concluding at the end of senior year, we support students in initiating the college preparation and search process, making a balanced college list and writing essays, and completing applications and enrolling in college. Includes:
Advising on course selection
Advising on extracurriculars
Advising on standardized testing
Strategic planning of college visits
Helping the student understand themselves to determine their goals for college
Developing a balanced college list
Coaching on writing the personal essay from start to finish
Ensuring student accountability for the application process
Support with completing the Common App and other applications (such as UC’s)
Coaching on writing up to supplemental essays for up to ten schools
Guidance throughout the post-application process: signing up for portals, letters of continued interest, etc.
Support making the best placement decision for the student and family

Junior to Senior Year Counseling Package
Beginning junior year and concluding at the end of senior year, we support students in making a balanced college list and writing essays, completing applications and enrolling in college. Includes:

This package is ideal for students from independent schools who already have a final, balanced college list developed with their guidance counselor and need support in writing their essays and completing the Common App in a timely manner and with excellence. In up to 15 sessions, it includes:
